Citizens can now obtain the debt statement provided by Azerishiq OJSC entirely in electronic form.

The scope of digital services offered on the “mygov” platform continues to expand.

Through a newly launched service, citizens can now apply entirely online for the document titled “Verification of Debt and Issuance of a Statement on the Absence (or Presence) of Debt” provided by Azerishiq OJSC.

This service is now available to citizens both on the “mygov” portal and its mobile application.

The integration of this service into the “mygov” platform was made possible through the joint cooperation of Azerishiq OJSC and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

Thanks to the capabilities of this new digital service, users can check their current debt status using a subscriber code and obtain an official electronic certificate.

The process is carried out in the following steps:

  • The user enters the subscriber code and clicks the “Check” button.

  • The system provides the following information:

    • Name and surname

    • Current debt

    • Outstanding (inactive) debt

    • Date of last meter reading

    • Date of last report

    • Date and amount of last payment

  • The user enters their contact details (mobile number and email address).

  • Optionally, an additional note field can be filled in.

  • The request is submitted via the “Send” button and confirmed by the system.

  • The request is forwarded to Azerishiq OJSC and an SMS notification is sent to the user.

  • The status of the request is displayed in the “History” section.

  • Once the certificate is ready, another notification is sent to the citizen.

  • The user can view and download the electronic version of the document from the “History” section.

It is worth noting that this innovation aims to enhance citizen convenience, reduce time loss, and support the transition to a paperless service model.
