The security of “digital.login” accounts has been enhanced with two-factor authentication (2FA).

The “digital.login” portal provides citizens with secure, unified access to over 200 government information systems through enhanced electronic signatures. Users can also log in using the FIN code from their ID card. In this login method, activated two-factor authentication (2FA) significantly increases account security. This added layer protects users logging in with a FIN code against cyberattacks by verifying identity through an additional security step.
By activating 2FA, users can only access their “digital.login” account via a one-time password (OTP), ensuring exclusive access and blocking unauthorized entry. Even if a password is stolen in a phishing attack, the second verification step minimizes the risk of account compromise.
How to activate 2FA:
- Download either the Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device.
- Log in to your digital.login account using your FIN code.
- Navigate to your personal dashboard, click on the “Security” section, and open the “Two-Factor Authentication” tab.
- Scan the on-screen QR code with your authenticator app.
- 2FA will now be active on your account.
Answers to frequently asked questions about the activation process are available on digital.login.gov.az and the IRIA YouTube channel.
💡 Note: Some users who previously accessed their account via FIN code now primarily use SIMA İmza. However, FIN code access remains active and may pose a security risk. For maximum protection, users are strongly encouraged to activate 2FA and prefer using SIMA İmza, which offers a more advanced security mechanism.
