A Graduate of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center Selected as a “Youth Ambassador” of the International Telecommunication Union

Aytac Kazimli, a graduate of the 5th cohort of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center (ACC), operating under the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), and currently serving as a mentor at the Center, has been selected as a “Generation Connect Youth Envoy” for Azerbaijan and the CIS region under the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) “Generation Connect Youth Envoys” (2026–2030) program.
The “Generation Connect Youth Envoys” program aims to expand international experience and cooperation opportunities for young people in Azerbaijan and the CIS region, encourage them to develop new initiatives in digital development, and promote their more active engagement in these processes.
The ACC graduate successfully completed all stages of the selection process and was selected among 184 young leaders from 61 countries. As part of the program, she will represent Azerbaijan and the CIS region internationally in the fields of digital development and ICT.
In 2022, Aytac reached the final stage of the “Teknofest” competition and won Huawei’s ICT “Networking” competition. She also represented Azerbaijan in the “Digital Defenders: Cybersecurity Readiness for a Resilient Digital Future” program held within the framework of the Malaysia Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP). Aytac has also achieved notable success on local platforms, including being selected as a finalist in “PAŞA Holding’s” “Future Shapers Digital 2025” program.
The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, operating under IDDA, aims to contribute to developing the country’s professional talent pool, supporting young people in becoming qualified ICT and cybersecurity professionals, and advancing their professional development.
