A strategic agreement has been reached between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and Tel Aviv University to expand cooperation in the fields of innovation and technology. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as to develop mutual potential in research, education, and innovation.

 

The cooperation under this agreement will cover several key areas. These include partnership with Tel Aviv University’s Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center, the organization of consulting and research services in cybersecurity and innovation ecosystems. Additionally, the agreement envisions activities aimed at higher education reforms, including the modernization of PhD programs in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, and the alignment of advanced international practices with the academic systems of local universities.

 

Human capital development is also highlighted as a key priority of the strategic agreement. In this regard, the organization of joint courses, training sessions, and seminars is planned, as well as the implementation of exchange programs focused on practical experience and technology transfer. In the future, both parties will explore opportunities to expand cooperation and add new areas of collaboration.

 

Salar Imamaliyev, Advisor to the Chairman of IDDA, emphasized the importance of the agreement, stating:

 

“This strategic agreement represents a significant milestone in the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel in the fields of innovation and technology and will contribute to the development of a sustainable scientific and technological partnership between the two parties.”
