Azerbaijan Prepares for the World Finals of an International Programming Competition

The prestigious ICPC competition's world finals will be held for the first time in Baku, thanks to the collaboration between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and the "ICPC Azerbaijan" community. In this regard, a meeting was held between IRIA and the "ICPC Foundation."

 

During the meeting, discussions were held on the preparation phase for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals, which will take place in Baku, as well as the tasks to be accomplished.

 

IDDA Chairman Farid Osmanov spoke about the contributions this competition will make to the country's digitalization and innovation development, as well as its impact on enhancing the country's global reputation.

 

Later, ICPC representatives emphasized that the world finals of the competition would be held for the first time in the Caucasus, in Baku, and discussed the future prospects for cooperation with IDDA in this area. It was decided that the preparation of the finalist teams will begin in April of this year.

 

The world finals will take place from August 31 to September 5, 2025.

 

It should be noted that starting in 2024, our Agency has been supporting "ICPC Azerbaijan" and organizing local competitions, camps, and training programs in collaboration with ADA University.
