Azerbaijani startups took the stage at the “Global Startup Showcase” during the “Silicon Valley May Summit 2026” event

On May 19–21, the “Silicon Valley May Summit 2026” was held at the headquarters of “Plug and Play” in Sunnyvale, California. The three-day event brought together more than 300 startups across 17 different industry programs, over 4,000 participants, corporate partners, and investors. This year’s agenda focused on key topics such as artificial intelligence, fintech, deep tech, cybersecurity, mobility, industrial supply, and semiconductor solutions.
On May 20, Azerbaijani startups - winners of the “GOAL” program implemented through the partnership between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and “Plug and Play” - also took the stage at the “Global Startup Showcase.”
Within the framework of the “GOAL” program, five Azerbaijani startups - “Glacies Biome,” “Bonfi,” “Recepta,” “Pixelfork,” and “Pionero AI” - presented their solutions in biotechnology, healthcare, and artificial intelligence to an international audience.
The “Pionero AI” startup, as the winner of the “Shark Tank” session held a few weeks earlier, earned the opportunity to deliver a special pitch on the main Showcase stage in front of investors and presented on May 20. The event not only enhanced the global visibility of Azerbaijani startups but also created opportunities for their integration into the Silicon Valley ecosystem, as well as for international investment and corporate partnerships.
