Citizens can revoke their consent for the querying of their personal data by private entities through "mygov."

A new feature is being introduced on the "mygov" platform, offering citizens enhanced capabilities. Through "mygov," citizens can easily manage their consent regarding the querying of their personal data by private entities.

In the "Requested Data" section of the platform, citizens can track their given consents and also have the option to suspend (block) or reactivate (unblock) them. When consent is suspended, the relevant private entities will no longer be able to query the citizen’s data through "digital finance."

It is important to note that while providing services, private entities can access citizens’ personal data digitally via the "digital finance" infrastructure. For this, private entities must first obtain consent from the citizens. This consent is currently provided through paper forms or other verification methods. Once consent is obtained, service providers can query the citizen’s data via "digital finance" for the specified duration and purpose as outlined in the consent. However, with the new functionality offered by "mygov," citizens can digitally suspend this process conveniently without needing to visit any place.

Thus, the new feature on the "mygov" platform allows citizens to manage their data and granted consents in a secure, digital format.
