“digital.login” update: it is now possible to access accounts using a biometric passkey.

New Feature on the “digital.login” Platform: Biometric Passkey Login Now Available
To enhance the security of user accounts accessed via ID identification numbers (FIN codes), the “digital.login” platform has introduced biometric passkey functionality. With this new feature, citizens can log in to their “digital.login” accounts without entering an additional password—simply by using biometric authentication such as fingerprint recognition, facial recognition, or a device-based security key.
This passkey feature not only strengthens account security but also offers a smoother user experience by eliminating the need for password input.
To activate a biometric passkey:
- Go to the “Security” section within your personal account and select the “Passkey” subsection;
- Click “New”, then enter a name for your passkey;
- Click “Add” and follow the device-specific instructions provided by the system to complete the setup;
- For future logins, select the “Login with ID number” method and click “Log in with Passkey.”
More detailed information about biometric passkeys can be found in the “Frequently Asked Questions” section on the digital.login website.
