IDDA has held discussions with delegations from nearly 10 African countries on opportunities for cooperation in the field of digital development
The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) has held bilateral meetings with delegations from Mali, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Somalia, Senegal, Chad, Tunisia, Kenya, and several other African countries. The discussions focused on prospects for cooperation in the field of digital development.
During the visit, the African delegations were introduced to Azerbaijan’s digital government technologies. Presentations provided detailed information on citizen-centric digital services such as myGov and myGov ID, as well as core digital government solutions including the Digital Document Management System and digital.bridge. In particular, “GovTech” products operating on the “one-stop shop” principle — exemplified by myGov — attracted significant interest.
IDDA’s Chief Commercial Officer, Salar Imamaliyev, noted that many African countries are interested in learning from Azerbaijan’s digital development experience, and emphasized that IDDA stands ready to systematically engage in knowledge-sharing initiatives. He added that the growing international interest in Azerbaijan’s digital government solutions is a strong indicator of the success and quality of the country’s digitalization policy.
It should be highlighted that these meetings are taking place within the framework of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25), serving to foster digital bridges between countries, explore cooperation opportunities, and strengthen technological diplomacy.
