IDDA is organizing information sessions on new legislative amendments in the field of innovation

Legislative amendments aimed at accelerating the development of the digital economy, supporting technology entrepreneurship, attracting international digital talent to Azerbaijan, and expanding opportunities for innovative products to participate in public procurement have been approved by the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 22, 2026. The amendments cover technopark residency, tax and social insurance incentives, startup financing, the legal status of digital nomads, and procurement mechanisms for innovative products.
The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) plans to organize a series of informative sessions to raise awareness among ecosystem stakeholders about the legislative amendments. The main objectives of the sessions are to increase awareness of the new amendments, identify potential questions and challenges related to their practical implementation, and address participants’ inquiries.
Existing technopark residents and companies planning to apply for residency, startups and technology entrepreneurs, companies operating in the IT and digital technology sectors, businesses developing innovative products and services, investors and digital nomads, as well as other stakeholders who may benefit from the new legislative amendments, are invited to attend the information sessions.
