Innovation cooperation between azerbaijan and Israel expands

A delegation from the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) of Azerbaijan, led by Chairman Farid Osmanov, is currently on a business visit to Israel, aimed at expanding cooperation in the fields of innovation, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.
The visit included a meeting with the leadership of Mobileye, a global leader in autonomous driving and AI technologies. Discussions focused on potential collaboration in line with Azerbaijan’s digital transformation agenda, particularly in research, technology transfer, and public-private partnerships.
The delegation also met with OurCrowd, one of Israel’s leading venture platforms. Talks centered around Azerbaijan’s growing startup ecosystem, investment opportunities, and knowledge exchange in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Additionally, a strategic meeting was held with Checkpoint, a global cybersecurity leader, to explore cooperation on establishing Cybersecurity Operations Centers and a Cybersecurity Academy in Azerbaijan, as well as expanding the company’s local presence.
These meetings mark a significant step in enhancing high-tech partnerships between Azerbaijan and Israel, supporting the growth of the innovation ecosystem and accelerating digital reforms in the region.
