Our country has begun cooperation with Italy in the fields of innovation, cybersecurity, and digital development.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IRIA) and "Telecom Italia," a leading company in Italy's telecommunications and technology sector.

 

During the meetings between the two organizations, various aspects of the cooperation were discussed, particularly the potential of the Italian technology company in the Azerbaijani market. Additionally, a steering committee was established to ensure effective project management within the framework of this cooperation.

 

IRIA’s Advisor, Salar Imamaliyev, stated that this partnership is of great importance for contributing to the development of digital transformation in Azerbaijan.

 

Eugenio Santagata, the Head of Public Relations, Security, and International Business at "Telecom Italia," emphasized that the partnership holds high strategic value.

 

The Memorandum was signed by Salar Imamaliyev, IRIA’s Advisor, and Eugenio Santagata, Head of Public Relations, Security, and International Business at "Telecom Italia."

 

The signing ceremony was attended by the leadership of both organizations, as well as the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Azerbaijan, Luca Di Canfrancesco.
