Public services will be developed based on citizen feedback through “mygov.”

The Innovation and Digital Development Agency has launched a new approach to developing the “mygov” platform. Within this framework, citizens are no longer seen solely as service users, but as active participants in the co-design of public services.

This initiative is being implemented in line with the “Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2028” and aims to shift the focus from service delivery to the design of citizen experience. The main objective is to continuously improve services based on real user needs.

As part of this approach, dedicated meetings are being held to integrate citizen feedback into the early stages of service design. The initiative covers both active users and groups with limited engagement in digital services.

The first meeting took place on April 30 at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, bringing together citizens who have used power of attorney services on the “mygov” platform.

During the discussions, feedback was collected on user experience, service accessibility, and interface simplicity. Based on these insights, initial decisions were made to reduce the number of steps in services, optimize the interface, and make the user journey clearer and more intuitive.

Within this framework, “mygov” serves as a unified platform for accessing public services and as a key institutional mechanism for ensuring citizen participation. The collected feedback and data will enable the systematic improvement of services based on user opinions and behavioral insights.

This initiative expands citizen involvement in digital government processes and contributes to the development of more agile, accessible, and user-centric public services.

It should be noted that the “mygov” platform currently provides digital services such as issuing a power of attorney for vehicle use, granting authority over a vehicle, and terminating a power of attorney. Citizens can also access their power of attorney information directly through the platform.
