Registration has opened for the new training cohort at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center

The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, established jointly by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency in cooperation with the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, has opened registration for a new training cohort.
This training cohort will also offer a special opportunity. The five highest-performing graduates among those who successfully complete the program will have the opportunity to undertake internships at international companies operating abroad, allowing them to test and further develop their skills in a real-world work environment.
Azerbaijani citizens aged 17 and above with English language proficiency and basic ICT skills are eligible to apply. Registered candidates will subsequently take part in an examination and interview process. The examination, conducted by Technion experts, will assess candidates’ logical and analytical thinking abilities, ICT knowledge and skills, and English proficiency. Candidates who successfully pass this stage will then be invited to interviews, after which 60 applicants will be selected to participate in the training with full scholarships. At each stage, only candidates with the highest scores will qualify for the next stage.
Throughout the program, classes will be delivered by Technion’s academic staff in accordance with their teaching methodology, covering both theoretical and practical knowledge. The six-month training program will run from 09:00 to 16:00 for classes and from 16:00 to 21:00 for practical sessions.
The program will train two groups of specialists: Red Team (offensive) and Blue Team (defensive). The teams will participate in simulations throughout the training to develop and enhance their skills. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive an official certificate from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

The Center also implements initiatives aimed at increasing employment opportunities for its graduates. Currently, the employment rate among graduates of six training cohorts stands at 90%. In addition to specialized training, the Center conducts cybersecurity awareness initiatives, training programs for senior officials and employees of government institutions, and activities supporting the development of local cybersecurity products.
