The Azerbaijani team won gold and silver medals at the World Robotics Finals.

On September 2, with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and organized by AREA Academy, a team of Azerbaijani youth participated in the world’s largest robotics championship, the TechnoXian World Cup 9.0, held in Noida, India.

 

The team demonstrated outstanding performance, earning gold and silver medals. Specifically, in this prestigious competition, which hosted 12,000 finalists from around the world, the Azerbaijani team won the title of World Champion in the Grand Championship – Drone Race (PUA) and placed second in RC Craft (Aviamodeling). Moreover, our youth represented the country with eight teams, further elevating Azerbaijan’s reputation on the international stage. The ideas and technological solutions presented by the Azerbaijani participants were highly praised by international judges and spectators.

 

It is worth noting that the achievements of the Azerbaijani team in this competition underscore the country’s growing strength in robotics and artificial intelligence and demonstrate the positive outcomes of the steps taken in this direction.
