The consent application required for issuing a passport to a minor can now be obtained through “mygov.”
The “Application for Issuing a Passport to a Minor” service provided by the Ministry of Justice has been integrated into the “mygov” platform. Through this service, parents, adoptive parents, guardians, or custodians can electronically formalize their notarized consent for issuing a general civil passport to individuals under the age of 18. This feature is particularly convenient in cases where one of the parents is unable to be physically present during the process.
To use the service, citizens should access the “Services” section of the “mygov” platform, select the “Family” category, and choose the “Application for Issuing a Passport to a Minor” service.
When accessing the service, information about the citizen’s children available in the system is automatically displayed on the screen. If the information is not displayed, the citizen can enter the child’s details manually.
The citizen then reviews the application and provides the required information. At the next stage, the information is verified by a notary through video verification. Once the payment is completed, the process of electronically formalizing the consent application is finalized.
Users can track the status of their applications through the “History” section of the service.
