The service for registering foreigners and stateless persons at their place of stay is now available on “mygov”.

As a result of the joint efforts of the State Migration Service and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, access to the service for the registration of foreigners and stateless persons at their place of stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan has been made available through the “mygov” digital government platform.

 

Now, the person hosting a foreign national can visit my.gov.az, navigate to the “Registration of foreigners and stateless persons at their place of stay in the Republic of Azerbaijan” service, and complete the registration by entering the required information about themselves and the foreign individual.

 


In addition, the platform allows users to update registration information and edit and resubmit their applications if needed.

 

No state fee is charged for using this service.

 

According to the legislation, every foreigner or stateless person who intends to stay in Azerbaijan for more than 15 days must be registered at their place of stay within 15 days of arrival (within 30 days for citizens of Kazakhstan). Failure to do so will result in administrative liability for both the foreign national and the hosting person.
If the foreign national or stateless person changes their place of stay, they must register at the new address within 5 working days. However, if the person temporarily stays at another property owned by the same landlord, re-registration is not required.
