The volume of data exchange between government agencies has exceeded 2 billion
The total number of transactions carried out through digital.bridge, the National Data Exchange System that enables data exchange among government information systems, has exceeded 2 billion. The system, operated by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, currently connects 80 government institutions and 180 information systems.
Launched in April 2021, digital.bridge is a central platform that ensures secure, fast, and standardized data flows between government bodies. As one of the core infrastructure components of the country's digitalization policy, the system facilitates the reliable transfer and sharing of data. It strengthens interoperability between public institutions, supports the “once-only” principle, simplifies citizen–government and business–government interactions, and enhances agility in public administration. By ensuring the integration and stable operation of digital public services, the platform accelerates the establishment of a unified and uninterrupted service model among government agencies. At the same time, it serves as a key platform safeguarding the security of the national data infrastructure.
From January to October of this year alone, the system processed more than 786 million data exchanges—an increase of approximately 89% compared to the same period last year. As a result, the volume of data exchange via digital.bridge in 2025 has been 2–3 times higher than in previous years.
It should be noted that the operation of the National Data Exchange System (digital.bridge), which has been functioning since April 2021, is regulated by Presidential Decree No. 263 of 12 September 2018, “On the approval of the Rules for the formation, maintenance, integration, and archiving of state information resources and systems” and on measures related to e-government. The system also operates in accordance with the Statute of the Electronic Government Information System (EHIS), approved by President Ilham Aliyev’s Decree dated 12 August 2025.
