Azerbaijani Students Complete Internship at UAE Space Center

A group of Azerbaijani students participated in an internship program at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The program, organized by Azercosmos under the KOSMIC Academy and supported by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, provided students with hands-on training and practical experience at this prestigious facility.
During the week-long program, participants worked on solving various technical challenges and contributed to scientific research projects under the guidance of MBRSC experts. They gained in-depth knowledge in fields such as aerospace and space analog systems, information security, computer and electronic engineering, astronaut training, and remote control systems. Additionally, they developed practical skills related to key initiatives such as the UAE Lunar Program and the UAE Mars Mission.
A highlight of the program was the opportunity to meet Nora Al Matrooshi, the Arab world’s first female astronaut. The students attended her masterclass, gaining unique insights and inspiration from her experiences.
The program aims to nurture young Azerbaijani talent in the space industry, promote their involvement in international projects, and enhance Azerbaijan's capabilities in this field.
At the conclusion of the program, the students were awarded certificates, marking their successful completion of the internship.
